Stacy M. Swanson , 53, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025.
She was born on October 11, 1971, in Fort Wayne, to Gregory and Kay (Counseller) Alberts.

Stacy was a 1990 graduate of South Side High School. In her free time, she enjoyed flower gardening and found peace and joy in music, as well as the beauty of nature.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Sophia "Sophie" Swanson; her parents, Gregory and Kay Alberts; her brother, Brandon (Samara Sheray) Alberts; and her cherished nieces, Lilly, Bella, and Carly.
She was preceded in death by her son, Blake.

A Celebration of Stacy's life will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne.

"My mom is my best friend in this lifetime and all the rest. She will be remembered for her love, kindness, free spirit, curiosity, wit, and strength. Truly the best mother anyone could ever ask for."

In honor of Stacy's vibrant spirit, the family kindly requests that attendees wear bright and colorful attire as we celebrate a life full of joy and love.
