Suzanne "Suzie" E. (Jordan) Peterson, age 50, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.  Born on June 25, 1974, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Pamela (Dirrim) Jordan.  Her enthusiasm for life was apparent from the beginning as she was born into her parents' arms en route to the hospital. She attended St. Vincent De Paul Elementary School and was a graduate of Bishop Dwenger High School, class of 1993. Suzie earned her bachelor's degree in interior design from Ball State University. Family came first for her, and she was dedicated to raising her four children.  Suzie loved spending time with her children and was involved in their activities and education. She always made sure to bring the fun and added that special touch to celebrations with family and friends. Suzie had a love for nature and being outdoors. Her faith was important to her, and she was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Suzie will be remembered as a very caring and considerate person. She was gifted with joy and had a wonderful sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. Suzie's absence in the lives of her family and friends will be profound, and she will be missed dearly.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mark Peterson; children, Renee, John, Alex, and Francis Peterson; siblings, Mary Ann (Scott Underwood) Jordan, David Jordan, Catherine (Michael) Acuna, Daniel Jordan, Thomas Jordan, and Cynthia (John) Gordon; several nieces and nephews; aunt, Margaret "Peggy" Stein; uncle, Thomas Jordan; and numerous extended family. Suzie was preceded in death by her parents and maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 with visitation one hour prior.
