Tamara L. Bowers, age 53, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026. surrounded by her loved ones.  Tamara was born in Fort Wayne, IN. She was a graduate of Indian Lake High School and Ivy Tech Community College, where she received her nursing degree.  Tamara lived to care for others.  She was the heart of her family.  A devoted wife, mother, grandmother.  Her love was constant, selfless and fierce.  Her greatest joy came from being "mom" and "grandma".  She will forever be held close in the hearts of her family and friends.

Tamara is survived by her husband of 28 years Larry; children, Emily Musi and Grace Bowers; parents David and Linda Klotz; siblings, Jason (Maureen) Klotz and Pamela Hurley; grandchildren, Liam and Lance Kinsey, Asalee Musi and Adeline Bowers.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph and Waneta Wertenberger, Virgil and Majorie Klotz and nephew, Devin Doty;.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805 with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Lindenwood Cemetery.
