Terry L. Hartman, 79, of Fort Wayne, died Friday October 17, 2025. Terry was born in Fort Wayne on January 21, 1946, the son of (the late) Maurice W. and Iona (Willig) Hartman. On July 1, 1967, Terry married Kathleen (Berkshire) Hartman; Kathy survives along with their children, Julie (Dan) Callahan, Dian (Kevin) Curtis, Jeannette (Jason) Price, Scott (Lindsay) Hartman, and Mark (Emily) Hartman, all of Fort Wayne; sisters Maurine Gensheimer of Fort Wayne and Nancy McElwain of Merced CA; brother, Maurice (Kay) Hartman of Angola; grandchildren, Michelle McArdle of Fort Wayne, Jarrod (Emily) Price of Holland OH, Josh Curtis of Fort Wayne, Will Callahan of Chicago IL, Jaxon Price of Fort Wayne, Brenna Forney of Fort Wayne, and his great-grandchild, Kaydence Wallace.

In addition to his parents, Terry was also preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Bob Gensheimer and Stu McElwain.

Terry retired from Zollner Corp. after 34 years with the company and spent the next 10 years with Stone-Street Quarries, Inc. Terry was hard-working and dedicated. He enjoyed collecting antique tractors and often attended tractor shows; he also enjoyed camping and a good campfire. He was an avid reader and liked being outdoors, often just relaxing on the front porch, but his greatest joys in life were the times he spent with his family and friends.

Funeral Mass 11:00am Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church–Hessen Cassel, 11337 Old US 27 South, with visitation from 10-11am in the church. Visitation also from 4-8pm Tuesday at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with the Rosary at 330pm. Terry will be laid to rest in St Joseph Catholic Cemetery – Hessen Cassel.
