With heavy hearts we share the passing of Theresa “Terry” K. Bailey, who left us on July 16, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on March 2, 1960, in Fort Wayne, IN,

Theresa is survived by her sisters Michele McCarthy, Mary Bailey, Susan Bailey, and Carole Bailey, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also survived by a long time companion, Mike Cox. She loved her family and friends and brought warmth, kindness, along with a sharp wit and a good memory when you least expected it! She always looked forward to birthdays with her gift giving, holidays with family, having a meal out, and her shopping trips! She attended both St Charles and Snider, and shined at her ballerina recitals and spelling bee.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Bailey & Betty Bailey, and her twin, Kathy Lopez, who passed away last October.

Her family will gather to celebrate her life with services on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home,3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN. Visitation will be starting at 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne, at 1pm.

Theresa’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her unconditional love.
