The passing of Thomas Lee Chaney on July 26, 2024, has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him. Born on December 6, 1948, in Fort Wayne, IN, Thomas was a cherished member of the community. As a dedicated bartender in the local bar industry, he touched the lives of many with his warm smile and friendly demeanor.

Thomas will be dearly missed by his surviving relatives, including his beloved sister Sharon Traughber, a niece, Penny Hissong, and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth G. (Quinn) and Dale L. Chaney and 11 brothers and sisters. His memory will be forever treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Funeral services to honor and celebrate Thomas's life will take place at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 11:00 am. Prior to the service, a public visitation will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 am to allow friends and family to pay their respects.
