Seculoff
March 17, 1927 – March 19, 2025
Thomas J. Seculoff, age 98, passed away on March 19, 2025. Son of the late John & Julia Seculoff, he was a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne. He is survived by sons Thomas (Dena) Seculoff; John (Elizabeth) Seculoff; daughters Nancy (Peter) Voors and Patricia (Kenneth) Wilson; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Tom is also survived by siblings; Phyllis Morken; Florence Seculoff; and Sr. M. Helene Seculoff, OSF.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, L. Jean, to whom he was married from 1959 until her passing in 1989, and by his second wife, Sue P., whom he married in 1995 and who died in 2022. Also preceding him in death were brothers David Seculoff; Rev. Fr. James Seculoff & a sister Sylvia Seculoff.
Tom was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and drafted into the Army. During World War 2, he served with the 1326th Medical Detachment as a Staff Sgt and a short stint with the 23rd Medical Unit (Persian Gulf Command). Upon reassignment back to the 1326th he was given many special detached assignments for which he received several meritorious unit citations.
Following discharge from military service, he partnered with his father, becoming co-owner of Tom & Johnny's Restaurant & Bar. He graduated from International Business College with a Degree in Professional Accounting and completed a Small Business Management Course at Indiana University. He subsequently went on to receive an Indiana Real Estate Brokers License; Investment and Security Brokers License; and a Certified Residential Appraisers Designation.
After selling Tom & Johnny's, he devoted his efforts toward expanding Tom Seculoff & Associates Real Estate Co. Tom served as President of the Fort Wayne Board of Realtors from 1975-76 and was named Realtor of the year in 1978. He retired from full-time real estate appraising at the age of 70.
Services for Thomas will include a time of visitation from 10:00am-11:00am and a Funeral Mass at 11:00am all on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, held at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 East Wallen Rd., Fort. Wayne, IN. Burial with Military Honors, will follow at Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne. Arrangements were completed with Divine Mercy Funeral Home-Cedar Canyons, Huntertown, IN.
