Timothy J. Houser, 65, of Brownsburg and formerly of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at IU Health West Hospital, Avon. Tim was born in Fort Wayne on October 13, 1959, the son of (the late) Milton and Rosalie (Konger) Houser. He graduated from Bishop Dwenger with the Class of '78 and went on to earn his degree at Vincennes University. Tim married Pamela (Slattery) Houser on November 7, 1981; Pam survives along with their daughters, Angela (Timothy) McGinley of Brownsburg, Liz (Ryan) Eme of Fishers and Katie (Tyler) Mingus of Brownsburg; grandchildren, Diana, Rosalie, Elise, Edison, Elliott, Graham and Griffin; brother, Tom (Sue) Houser
of Azle TX; sister, Teri (Phil) Carson of Brownsburg, and several Aunts & Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tim was a life-long member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, dedicating many years volunteering for the school and athletic department. Volleyball was a major part of Tim's life, and he coached many teams from Queen of Angels Catholic School, Bishop Dwenger High School, Concordia High School, Fort Wayne Volleyball Club, and Summit Volleyball Club, and took great pride in being a coach, but his true joy came from the time he spent with family & friends. He was more than just the life of the party—he was the heart of it. And anyone lucky enough to know him knew that the world was a better place with him in it.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am Monday, November 11, 2024 in Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1500 W. State Blvd. Visitation on Monday will be from 9:30-10:30am at Divine Mercy Lake Avenue Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with a Prayer Service at 10:30am. Visitation will also be from 1-5pm Sunday, November 10th at the funeral home, with the Rosary at 1:00pm.
