Thomas E. Barry, 79, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday November 1, 2025. Tom was born in Fort Wayne on August 2, 1946, the son of the late Ronald A. Barry, Sr. and Lavon CarrieAnn (Minnich) Barry. After graduating from South Side High School with the Class of '64, he went on to serve his country with honor in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Tom retired as a Lineman for GTE/Verizon after 30 years with the company; and during that period, he also worked part-time at Georgetown Bowl, for 37 years. He was a member of the American Legion, was an enthusiastic kayaker, enjoyed watching movies at the remaining drive-in theaters in Indiana & Michigan, as well as attending Ft Wayne Tin Caps games and visiting area classic car shows.

Tom is survived by his sister, Laura Farlow of Decatur; brothers, Ronald A. "Butch" (Steve Cotton) Barry, Jr. of Fort Wayne and Joseph (Judy) Barry of Leo; sister-in-law, Gayle Barry; step-son, Terry (Stacey Shepherd) Lamb; step-granddaughter, Kira Lamb; 4 nieces and 7 nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tom was also preceded in death by his brother, Rick Barry and his sister, Susan Barry.
