Tonia L. Fincher, age 55, peacefully passed away on February 17, 2026, in her home. She was born on September 4, 1970, to Freddie Fuller and Deon Stanford (Johnson) and raised by Deon and Clyde Stanford in Fort Wayne, IN.

She spent her days perfecting her baking skills and crafting new flavored pound cakes. Often found with a crossword puzzle or a book, she kept her mind sharp and her hands busy. Tonia loved holidays with her family and laughter with her friends.

Tonia is survived by her loving husband of 5 years, Jerome Fincher; 3 sons, Jason Parker, Deondre Parker, and Jamonte Fincher; 4 daughters, Domonique Parker, Sincya Fincher, Sariah Fincher, and Teria Fincher.

She valued time spoiling her 7 grandchildren, Ny'Asha Parker, Christopher Greer, Jazlyn Parker, Eli Parker, Jacarri Sanders, Jahlil Sanders, and Ja'Kyla Sanders, and her granddog, Maybelle Parker.

Tonia leaves behind a large family, including her grandmother Ethel; her brother, Jelani Stanford; her sisters, Edna Bostic (Kameron) and Laura Vaughn (Wayne), and other siblings through her father(s). She has a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who love her dearly.

She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and the extended family gained through 40 years of friendship with her best friend, Debbie Fisher. Tonia touched the lives of many. Even if it was only a few minutes, she always left a lasting impression.

Visitation for Tonia will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 12:00-1:00 P.M. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Services will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Raymond Dix officiating.
