Tony
Yagodinski
March 3, 1972 – September 24, 2024
Anthony T. "Tony" Yagodinski, 52 of New Haven, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 after a difficult battle with cancer. He was born in Fort Wayne on March 3, 1972, the son of (the late) William J. and Gloria M. Yagodinski.
Tony loved his vacations at Coldwater Lake, spending time with his family and friends, playing cards and listening to his favorite music. In his younger years, Tony enjoyed fishing, riding his jet ski, swimming with his many nieces and nephews, and watching the beautiful sunsets on his swing. He always loved to celebrate Independence Day as the Grand Marshal of the family parade.
Tony was a loyal fan of his San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Eagles, as well as the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. He thoroughly enjoyed watching the Padres beat the Cubs!
He was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish, New Haven, IN, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a 1991 graduate of New Haven High School, a member of the American Legion Post 330, and the Navy Club.
Survivors include his siblings, Kenneth (Patty) Yagodinski of Omaha NE, Patrick (Leann) Yagodinski of Monroeville, Gregory (Wendy) Yagodinski of Angola, Christine (Bryan) Renbarger of Fort Wayne, Judith (Richard) Kohrman of New Haven, Frederick (Kimberly) Yagodinski of Monroeville and Dorothy (Christian) Reidy of New Haven; 41 nieces & nephews; 20 great-nieces & nephews and counting, with another one on the way.
In addition to his parents, Tony was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, William J. Yagodinski and Michael D. Yagodinski.
He was so grateful for all the love and care he received from his family and his caregivers - Holly & Laura and the Hospice staff. Tony lived a great example of "Offering it Up" throughout his life. He certainly learned that from his Mom, "Off", as Tony would often call her! God's Might & God's Speed!
