Travis Wayne Gilbert, 28, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 15, 2023 at his residence.

He was born on June 10, 1995 in Marion to Steve and Teresa (Lloyd) Gilbert.

Travis enjoyed music, motorcycles, cars, go carts, gaming, rap, making people smile, but most of all his family; especially his nieces and nephews.

Mr. Gilbert worked for Polarking and on his father's food truck, Famous Dog Street Café.

He is survived by his daughter, Naylei Hope; parents, Steve (Melinda) Gilbert and Teresa Lloyd; siblings, Teresa (Christopher Sewell) Gilbert, Steve (Michelle) Gilbert III, and Kyle Gilbert; fiancée, Faith Jennings; step-siblings, Ashlee and James; Nieces and Nephews, Kylee, Nevaeh, Lillian, Destini, Malachi, Jeremiah; and family friend Robert McCluskey.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Samuel Odom, Roberta Sarter, and Nancy and Robert Lloyd.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior to the services.
