Obituary

Truman Lee Pauley, 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025.

He was born on June 5, 1952 in Madison, West Virginia to the late John Henry and Gertrude (Kinder) Pauley. Truman was raised by his Aunt Lillian and Uncle Coy.

Truman honorably answered his nations call and Served in the United States Navy from 1972 until 1976.

On July 8, 1978, in Fort Wayne, he married the love of his life, Bonnie Marie Koczor.

Mr. Pauley retired from INDOT in 2017 after 40 years as an inspector and plow driver.

In his free time, Truman enjoyed Nascar, fishing, and about any game you could think of. He will be fondly remembered for his devotion and love of his Family, always loving any opportunity to spend time with them.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Shelly (Jeff) Stanley and Travis Pauley; and his grandchildren, Mckenzie, Ethan, and Lucas.

Also preceding him in death were siblings, Lou Ann Ludwiski, David Pauley, Larry Pauley, and John Pauley.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be Monday, May 12, 2025 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Memorials may be directed to Stillwater Hospice, Humane Society, or Cancer Services.
