Valerie M. Suveges, 102 years, 10 months, and 29 days died on July 18, 2026, in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on August 19, 1923 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Joe and Mary (Lasarski) Balcer. She married John Frank Suveges on February 2, 1945, who preceded her in death. Valerie was a housewife, businesswoman, and an avid golfer - an eighteen hole ladies golfer to be specific. She could play 36 holes even into her eighties.Valerie is survived by John (Cory) Suveges, Betsy Keisler, and Ann Suveges. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a kitty cat.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Saint Therese Catholic Church 2304 Lower Huntington Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with visitation one hour prior. A luncheon will be served following the funeral.
