Virginia L. Strawbridge, 100, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Saint Anne's Home. Virginia was the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth MacNamara. After working as an Executive Secretary for many years, Virginia began working with the Fort Wayne-South Bend Marriage Tribunal, in 1963, until her retirement. She was a woman of deep faith, completing over 50 years as a member of the Secular Franciscan Order, of St. Charles Fraternity. She is survived by her son, Steven Strawbridge; her devoted caretaker of many years, Fry Schindler, whom she referred to as her daughter, both of Fort Wayne; and her dear friend, Barbara (Les) Tuttle of Temple Terrace, FL. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd., with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church or St. Peter Catholic Church.
