Wendell W. Snider, 65, of Fort Wayne died Thursday September 26, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born in Fort Wayne on January 15, 1959, the son of (the late) John and Martha (Snoke) Snider. After his graduation from Snider High School, Wendell served his country with honor in the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Susan (Wulff) Snider; sons, Jonathan Snider of Auburn and Joshua Snider of Fort Wayne; daughters, Samantha (Kevin) Snowball of Fort Wayne and Stephanie (David) Markowicz of Williston ND, and ten grandchildren. Wendell is also survived by his brothers, David Snider and Michael Snider, and his sister, Laura Snider.

Wendell was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and was devout in his faith. He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Notre Dame, but his true joy in life was his family. Wendell was a good husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am Friday, October 4, 2024 in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd, with visitation from 10-11am in the church. Visitation also from 3-5pm Thursday at Divine Mercy-Lake Avenue Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with the Rosary at 3:00pm. Wendell will be laid to rest in Highland Park Cemetery.
