William D. Livingston, 94, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday April 18, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Bill was born in Charleroi PA on May 17, 1931, the son of William H. and Alice J. (Gillon) Livingston. He served his country with honor in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He continued his studies and earned his engineering degree from Penn State University. On August 17, 1957, Bill married Margaret “Peggy” (Sabolsky) Livingston and she survives, along with their children, Donald (Beth) Livingston of Westville, Dennis (Anne) Livingston of Wolcottville, and Barry Livingston, Linda (Tom) Herber, William (Katie) Livingston and Kevin (Michelle) Livingston, all of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Hailey Livingston, Bill Livingston, Brandon Herber, Jeremy (Alicia) Herber and Micah Livingston, all of Fort Wayne, and his sister, Norma Jean Horwedel of Vacaville CA. In additional to his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by a sister, Jane Yancoskie.
Bill was a Group Manufacturing Manager at Dana Corp. He retired in 1988 after 20 years with the company. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and the 10-10 Amateur Radio Club. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his family & friends.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Friday April 24, 2026 in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd. with visitation from 930-1030am in the church. Visitation also on Thursday from 4-8pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with the Rosary at 3:30pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery with military honors.
