Yolande Nieto, 99, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026 at Lutheran Life Villages at Inverness. Born in Haiti, she lived and worked in several countries before marrying George Nieto in Lancaster, PA, and they eventually relocated their family to Fort Wayne. Together they enjoyed a full life and traveled the world. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Anna Specht and Paul Nieto (Debra) of Fort Wayne, Robert Nieto (Eileen); and grandchildren, Braden, Kelsey, Melanie, and Christian. Yolande was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Anna; siblings, Nicole and Max; and her husband, George. Her family thanks Coventry Meadows Assisted Living, Solace Hospice, and Lutheran Life Villages at Inverness for their loving care.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Kevin Bauman to officiate. Burial will be at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be sent directly to the Forgotten Children of Haiti (FCH) organization in Yolande's name.
