Angelina Grace (Colasanti) Ventruella

Angelina Grace Colasanti Ventruella, 94, of Fort Wayne went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 28, 2021, in Fort Wayne, IN. Angelina was born February 14, 1927 in New York, NY, to the late Savino and Guiseppina (Nuzzi) Colasanti. She worked at the Book of the Month Club in New York. She retired as a Retail Sales Associate from J.C. Penney with 23 years’ service.  She was a member of Saint Henry Catholic Church and attended Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic. Angie was a Beloved Wife, Devoted Mother, Loving Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Aunt. She loved being with her family and was very proud of her Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, "especially Italian cuisine", baking, and entertaining family and friends.  She was an Angel to everyone and enjoyed traveling, dancing, flower gardening and playing cards. "Mom, we love you; you will forever remain in our hearts and we will miss you!"  Angelina is survived by children, Don (Marianne) Ventruella, Jan (Dana) Hoopingarner, Michael (Michelle) Ventruella all of Fort  Wayne; Grandchildren Ciara, Nicholas, Bryanna (Husband, Matthew), and Anthony; Great-grandchildren, Calianna and Aislin; Sister Josie Colasanti Belsky; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband Samuel Ventruella;  brother Tony Colasanti and sister Mary Sage. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 pm, Friday, June 11, 2021, Father Stephen Felicichia, officiating, at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 10, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Entombment will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.  Memorial contributions may be made to Masses at the Catholic Church of Donors Choice or American Heart Association.
