Anthony (Tony) F. Pesa

Anthony (Tony) F. Pesa, 80, of Fort Wayne went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.  Born February 6, 1942, in Cincinnati, OH, he was a son of the late Anthony and Mary Pesa. He graduated from Roger Bacon High School and Xavier University, both in Cincinnati, OH.  He was Director of Marketing at Pepsi Cola. A humble man of strong faith, he was an active member of each parish he attended- St. Vivian’s, St. Charles Borremeo, and most recently St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Tony enjoyed watching sports, especially the Cincinnati Bengals, Reds, Xavier basketball, and car racing. He enjoyed being outdoors. More than anything, Tony will be remembered for his steadfast love of his family. Whether it was attending a grandchild’s sporting event, weekly breakfast at Bob Evans with his family, a phone call, or a warm embrace, family was the center of his world. His strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family and friends carried him throughout his journey Home. The cherished memories and lessons of faithfulness, humility, perseverance, intentionality, and strength will be carried on in the hearts of his loved ones. Tony is survived by his loving wife, Gail; daughter, Jenifer (Craig) Owens; sons, Mark (Kathy) Pesa, and Paul (Jennifer) Pesa; 11 grandchildren, Natalie, Jamison, Adam, Joseph, Katie, Luke, Sam, Nick, Lindsey, Ali and step-granddaughter Kimberly Cook; sister, Nancy (Eugene) Wolke; and brother, Fred (Jan) Pesa.  Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022, at 11:00 AM, with calling one hour prior. Burial will be held at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions may be made to Masses at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
