Antonia O. Munoz, 89, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday October 22, 2023, at Grey Stone Health & Rehabilitation Center. Antonia was born on December 4, 1933, in El Alto de Dolores in Madera, Chihuahua (Mexico), the daughter of (the late) Fransisco and Aurora (Quezada) Olivas. On December 28, 1952, she married Trinidad Munoz, who preceded her in death on January 25, 2011, after 58 years of marriage. Antonia was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother; she loved music and could often be heard singing as she tended to daily tasks around the house. Her biggest joy in life was her family and she loved looking after her grandchildren. Antonia is survived by her daughters, Manuela (Mario) Juarez, Maria (Ramon) Morales, and Oralia (Santos) Mendez, all of Fort Wayne; her daughter-in-law, Rosa Lopez of El Paso TX; brother, Fransisco Olivas of Boulder CO; sister, Cayetana (Carlos) Arizmendiz of Dallas TX; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Alonzo Munoz, and brothers, Jose Olivas, Isidro Olivas, Enrique Olivas, Clemente Olivas, and Mercedez Olivas. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 10:00-11:00am, with prayers at 11:00am, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. The Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11:30am (Tuesday) in St. Henry Catholic Church, 2929 E.
