Barbara A. Stemen

Barbara A. Stemen, 79, of Fort Wayne went home to the Lord on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at home. She was a  member of Saint Jude Catholic Church and  the choirs of St. Jude and  the Fort Wayne Festival Choir where she was a singer and  Bell Ringer. Additionally she was a teacher for the Fort Wayne South Bend Diocese and was a former member and teacher of The Order of School Sisters of Notre Dame. Her interests include reading, traveling, crocheting, playing cards and playing the guitar.

Barbara is survived by sisters, Helen C (Patrick) Kite of Indianapolis, IN, Mary (Anthony) Rorick of New Haven, IN; and multiple nieces and nephews.  

Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am Saturday, January 22, 2022  at St. Jude Catholic Church,  2155 Randallia Dr. with visitation one hour prior.  Visitation will also be 2-5 pm Friday, January 21, 2022 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave with a Rosary Service at 2pm. 

Memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA or Masses.
