Barbara "Anita" K. Kintz, 90, of New Haven passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at home surrounded by family. Born October 24, 1932, in Wapakoneta, OH she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Anna Brockert. She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. She was a typist at North American Van Lines. Anita is survived by daughters, Tracy (Dave) Lowe of New Haven, Jody (Paul) Carr of Butler, IN; son, Jeff (Sadie) Kintz of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Blake and Jack (Carley) Lowe, Luke, Cole and Bryce Kintz; and great grandson, Hudson Lowe; sister, Jane Seibert; and sister-in-law Bonnie Brockert. Anita was also preceded in death by her husband, John 'Jack' Kintz; sisters, Karen Smith and Dolores Ann Weichart; and brother Joseph Brockert. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Thursday, December 1, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St. New Haven, with calling one hour prior. Visitation also Wednesday, November 30, 2022, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery, New Haven. In Lieu of Flowers memorial may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or the charity of your choice.
