Bert E Buchan

Bert E Buchan, 81, of Fort Wayne died January 27, 2021 at home, surrounded by his loving family.  Bert was born July 12, 1939 in Fort Wayne and was the son of the late Ralph and Mary Buchan.  He was a member of  the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 166 and enjoyed spending time with his family. Bert is survived his wife of 52 years, Cecilia "Ciss" Buchan; daughters, Jennifer (James) Knepper of Fort Wayne, IN., and Carrie VanderJagt of Owasso, OK; son, Todd Buchan of Owasso, OK; grandsons, Joseph and Jonathan Knepper and Shawn VanderJagt; brother, Jerry (Audrey) Buchan of Fort Wayne, IN. Bert was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas and Robert "Jim" Buchan. A Memorial Service will be  held  3:00 pm, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave with a gathering of family and friends from 1 pm to 3pm. Face masks are required and social distancing will be followed. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or Cancer Services of N E Indiana.
