Betty Sharon Boedeker

Betty Sharon Boedeker, of Fort Wayne died April 23, 2021 at Parkview  Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN. Betty was born in Fort Wayne. Betty was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years at St. Joe Hospital as nursing supervisor in the newborn nursery labor and delivery and postpartum unit. She also volunteered at Mathew 25 and SCAN.  Betty was a graduate of Central Catholic H.S. and St. Vincent's School of Nursing in Indianapolis, In. Betty is survived by her son, Stephen (LeAnn) Boedeker; three daughters, Katherine (Thomas) Frissell, Sharon Smith and Beth Pfeiffer of Lewisville TX; grandchildren, Daniel (Laurel) Boedeker, Breanna (Donald) D'Agostino, Nicole (Scott) Gase, Lyndsey Frissell, Samuel Smith, Samantha Pfeiffer, Zachary Pfeiffer and great grandchildren Noah, Sophia and Henson. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Edward (Dick) Boedeker; son, Timothy Boedeker; great granddaughter Baby Madison Rose Gase; her parents Harold and Ruby Mullendore; brothers N. Keith and Ronnie Mullendore. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021, 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions may be made to Matthew 25 or Saint Charles Masses.
