Betty J (Hewes) Kloepper

Betty J. Kloepper, 91, of Fort Wayne passed away June 20, 2022 at Towne House Health Care, Fort Wayne, IN. Betty was born August 31, 1930 in Dunfee, IN, a daughter of the late Earl and Mildred Hewes. 

Betty retired from Nipsco after 33 years of employment. She enjoyed entertaining, spending time with her grandchildren, had a great love for animals and never met a stranger. 

She is survived by children, Greg (Tammy) Smith, Todd (Marge) Smith, Jill (Don) Bobay; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in by her parents; siblings, Evelyn Hine, Harvey F. Hewes, and Earl Hewes Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Towne House,  2209 St Joe Center Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825 with calling from 10 am to 11 am. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or Humane Fort Wayne.
