Beverly "Bev" Dalrymple-Zollinger

Beverly "Bev" Dalrymple-Zollinger, 65, of Fort Wayne passed away January 4, 2022 at Hospice Home Fort Wayne. Beverly was born August 3, 1956 in Huntington, IN, a daughter of the late Alberta and Robert Hosier. 

Bev began her career in nursing at Huntington Memorial Hospital in the Labor and Delivery Department where she helped bring babies into the world. She spent many years at Miller's Merry Manor and Victory Noll Sisters, OLVM in Huntington where she helped preserve the dignity of the residential sisters who were ill, aging, and nearing the end of life. She also worked in various rehab settings helping people with disabilities, chronic illness, and addiction. She ended her nearly 35 year career in nursing working for Lutheran Hospital of Indiana on the Medical Surgical 3 Floor. When her career in nursing was over she continued to devote her time to others by volunteering at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home of Ft Wayne where everyone knew her as a smiling face. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church where she was involved with bible study. 

In her spare time she enjoyed painting, art, gardening and was a bird and animal lover, specifically her dogs. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and making memories with her family. 

Bev is survived by her husband of 13 years, Jim Zollinger; children, Brandon (Kimberly) Dalrymple, Nathan Dalrymple; grandchildren, Dalia Dalrymple, Tyler Elaine Dalrymple, and Corban Dalrymple; sisters-in-law, Linda (Larry) Craighead, Carol (Dan) Rosswurm, Jean (David) Collins and Jill (Jamie) Owens; brother-in-law, Dick (Cindy) Zollinger; former mother-in-law, Mary Dalrymple.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alan Dalrymple; and granddaughter, Alana Dalrymple; and brother-in-law, John Zollinger.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Monday, January 10, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 10700 Aboite Center Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, with calling one hour prior. 

Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805.

Memorial Contributions may be made to masses in her name, Humane Fort Wayne, Cancer Services or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
