Carol A. (Yaste) Jockel

Carol A. Jockel, 88, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.  Born on December 31, 1933, in Fort Wayne she was the daughter of the late Edward and Edna Yaste.  Carol loved spending time with family, reading and being outdoors.  She especially enjoyed playing cards with friends. She was the beloved wife of John Jockel and is survived by her brother, Edward Yaste of Reno NV; dear mother of Lisa (John) Gibson of Fort Wayne, John (Barbara) Jockel of Elkhart IN and Jennifer (Joe) Jockel-Balsarotti of St. Louis. MO; dear grandmother to Alyssa (Gibson) Seward and Rachel Gibson.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Our Lady of Good Hope, 7215 St Joe Rd with calling one hour prior.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church or Allen County SPCA.
