Carole June (Calkins) Martin

Carole June Martin, 87, of Fort Wayne passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021, surrounded by family.  Born April 29, 1934, in Fort Wayne she was a daughter of the late Frank and Luella Calkins. Carole was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Ft. Wayne and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School.  She worked for over 30 years at Magnavox.  Carole loved dancing, singing, reading, music and animals.  She will be remembered for her quick wit and humor.  Carole is survived by her children,  Mary Lou Caimens, Debra Grosjean, Bob (Linda) Martin, Nancy Lauer, Dave (Kim) Martin; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren. Carole was also preceded in death by her siblings, Doris (Jack) Conroy, Jack (Sue) Calkins.  Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Friday, December 17, 2021, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave with calling from 9:00 - 11:00 am.  Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to S.P.C.A.
