Charlotte Ball Obituary

Charlotte Ball, 81, of New Haven passed away September 17, 2021.  Charlotte was born March 18, 1940 in Tecklenburg, Germany. She was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church. Charlotte was a teacher for the Fort Wayne- South Bend Diocese for over 30 years. She loved spending time with her husband, kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Charlotte was known for her stories about her experiences growing up in Germany and the eternal impact she made on her family, friends and students. 

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Floyd; son, James Ball; daughter, Vickie Ball- Seiter (Rick Seiter); sister, Elizabeth (Patrick) Holtkamp; daughter in-law Josie Ball; granddaughters, Kennedy Ball, Katie (Alex) Wharton, Addie McCarthy, Morgan Ball, Grace Ball, Kati Seiter, Noel (Sean) Henke; Grandsons, Karsten Ball, Will Ball and Daniel Hughes; great-granddaughters, Amelia Wharton, Layla Wharton, Gianna Wharton, Gemma McCarthy, Bella McCarthy, Emily Henke, Mila Henke; great-grandsons, Joseph Wharton, Lincoln McCarthy, and Jayden Seiter.   

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Franz-Joseph and Lotte Peters; brother, Franz-Martin Peters; and son, Peter Ball.  

Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 11 am, Tuesday, October 5th, 2021, at St. Mary's Catholic Church 1101 South Lafayette St., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Visitation will also be held Monday, October 4th, 2021 from 4:30pm-7:30pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
