Cinda Elaine Harris

Cinda Elaine Harris, 78, was born in Napoleon, Ohio.  Cinda graduated from Logansport High School with the class of 1960.  Following graduation, she worked at Switches Inc. for many years.  On February 1, 1963, she married E. Grant Harris in Logansport, IN and they have shared nearly 59 wonderful years together.  She and Grant moved to Ohio in 1985 then back to Indiana where they have lived for the past 30 plus years.  Cinda enjoyed life to the fullest traveling with her sister and friends.  She also enjoyed just spending time with friends having fun.  Her greatest joys, however, were her husband, children, and grandchildren.  She loved time with her family and being a part of their lives having fun and laughing.  Her laugh was contagious to all who knew her.

Grateful for having shared Cinda’s life are her husband, Edward Grant Harris, Fort Wayne, IN, her children:  Stacy (Larry Wood) Harris, Dover, Fl, Kara (Ray) Tople, Fort Wayne, IN, grandchildren: Sara (Joey) Gibbs, Olivia (Trenton) Duffin, Grant (Mackenzie) Jagger, Lauren Jagger, Alex (Shannon) Tople, Nicholle (Anthony) Piekarski, Jay (Terri) Wood, great grandchildren: Zachary, Damian, Gavin, Max, Athena, Maci, Taryn, Bailee, Caleb, Lydia, and Andrew, Sister: Jane Toland, Knoxville, TN.

Preceding Cinda in death are her parents Loren and Mabel Kathrens.

A celebration of life is being planned for family and friends in October.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations to be made in Cinda’s name to Cancer Services of Fort Wayne, IN and/or Parkview Hospice Services.
