D. David Hilker

D. David Hilker, 69 years, of Anza Ca. passed away on August 11, 2021. Dave was born to parents G. Daniel and Jaqueline (Shaw) Hilker on 04/20/52 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School in 1970. Dave attended Ball State University where he met and married his wife Lana in 1974. He graduated with a BS degree in Industrial Supervision from Indiana University. Dave owned and operated Hilker's Custom Cabinets from 1986 until his retirement in 2018 and invented a Cabinet Casework System, TenonCam, in 2007. He played in rock bands as a teenager and retiree. Dave lived for his family and loved developing his property in Anza. Dave is survived by his wife Lana (Welty) Hilker; children Isaac, Abe, and Sarah; grandchildren Aurora and Tessa; brothers Gregory (Kim) Hilker, Jeffry (Marie) Hilker, and Steven (Angie) Hilker; sister Dawn (Scott) Passwater and many nieces and nephews. The family requests that donations be made in his honor to Catholic Charities. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service in Dave's honor at 10:00am on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, at 412 Church, 41831 McAlby Ct-Suite B, Murrieta, Cailfornia.
