Daniel Joseph Harber

Daniel Joseph Harber, 80, of Fort Wayne passed away, Friday, January 13, 2023.  Born January 19, 1942, in Fort Wayne he was a son of the late Willard and Berneice Harber.  He graduated from St. Patrick's Elementary School and Central Catholic High School in1961.   He was a member of the Old Fort Coin Club.  Daniel for General Electric for over 25 years in the aviation division.  He was an avid fisherman and bird watcher, collector of coins, and loved Notre Dame Football and Komet Hockey.  Daniel is survived by his wife, Donna M. Harber; son, Phillip Daniel Harber; sisters, Judy Zimmerman and Joan Malott; stepson, Daniel (Jessica) Wallen; step granddaughter, Eva Marie Davis; and step grandson, Hunter Corbin.  Daniel also was preceded in death by his first wife, Kay D. Harber; siblings, William and Gerald Harber, Marianne Harber and Virginia Lee. Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., with calling two hours prior.  Inurnment will be 11 am Saturday, February 11, 2023, in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.  Memorial contributions may be made to Masses.
