David Charles James, Jr.

David Charles James, Jr., 57, of Fort Wayne passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 in Fort Wayne. David was born December 4, 1963 in Fort Wayne. He graduated with a special education diploma from Fort Wayne Community Schools and was an active member of GiGi's Playhouse.  David was also involved with Holy Cross Lutheran Church Bible School for 15 years.  David is survived by his father, David (Patty) James; mother, Cynthia James; sister, Wendy (Terry) Feichter; brother, Tony (Beverly) James; nephews, Michael (Megan) James, Connor James, and Trysden Feichter; aunts, Jane Garvison, Nan McDaniel, Chris Ripke; great niece, Hadley James; other extended family; and special friends, Grace, Kathryn, Haley and Karla.  David is enjoying heaven with his sister-in-law, Sarah; uncle, David Turrin; and grandparents, Albert and Lois Turrin and Charles and Gertrude James who preceded him in death.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Rd. with calling one hour prior. Visitation also Thursday, February 18, 2021, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne.  Entombment will be in Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Down Syndrome Association.
