DeWayne W. Turk, 81, of Fort Wayne went to the Lord on Sunday, May 30, 2021, surrounded by family. Wayne was born August 11, 1939, in Auburn, a son of the late Wllinear and Grace Turk. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines Corps. Wayne was a truck driver thru Teamsters 414. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Norma (Niemeyer); children, Jeff (Ginger) Turk of Salem, OR, Cindy (Steve) Mollenkopf of Vancouver, WA, Peggy (Jeff Voors) Sabine of Fort Wayne, Chad (Heather) Turk of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; siblings, Sandy Hogle, Becky Moore, Raymond (Pauline) Turk, Tom (Rita) Turk, Karen (Steve) Moser, Patty Uitts, Jodie Poe; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Turk and Cindy Turk Wayne was also preceded in death by daughter, Vikki Kerr; son, David Turk; siblings, Judy (Gene) Cox, Kenny Turk, Sharon Woods, Steve Turk, Bob Turk, and Tammy Dasher. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Friday, June 4, 2021, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd, with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church or Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
