DENNIS WAYNE KITT, 72, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, April 19, 2021, at Saint Anne Home, Fort Wayne. Born Dec. 10, 1948, in Huntington, Ind., he was a son of the late Eugene and Ellen (Landrigan) Kitt. He attended St. Charles Catholic School and was in the first graduating class of Bishop Dwenger High School. He was a graduate of Indiana University and Marymount University School of Nursing. Denny worked in Fort Wayne as a nurse at Hospice Home and at St. Joseph Hospital in the bariatric chamber. He was an avid reader, life long learner, gardener and lover of the arts. Denny spent his life in service to others and leaves the world a better place because of the unselfish kindness he showed them. Dennis is survived by two sisters, Diane (George) Bonk of Chicago, Ill., and Carla (Vince) Crowell of Woodstock, Ga.; nephews, Jeffrey Kitt Crowell, Mathew Vincent Crowell, Alex Eugene Bonk, and Brian Thomas Bonk; niece, Elizabeth Ellen Crowell; two great nephews; three great nieces; uncles, Patrick (Susan) Landrigan and William Landrigan; and numerous cousins. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Saint Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Drive, with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2021, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Fort Wayne at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Anne Home or Visiting Nurse Hospice Home.
