Donald Brames Obituary

Donald C Brames, 93, of Fort Wayne went home to the Lord Monday, November 15, 2021. Donald was born December 1, 1927 in Fort Wayne and graduated from Southside High School and then served in the US Navy as a Seabee. He then retired from International Harvester after 45 years. He was a member of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and International Harvester Retiree Club. 
 
Donald is survived by daughters, Laura (Jerry) Gerardot, Gwen (Thomas (Deceased)) Niedermeyer, Margo Brames (Ryan), Melissa Jeffries (Paul); sons, Scott (Cindi) Brames, Curt (Emy (Deceased)) Brames, Richard (Ronna) Brames; sister, Phyllis Fitzgerald and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Donald was preceded in death by wife of 64 years Marilyn M. Brames and his son, Kent A. Brames.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held 4-7 pm, with a Rosary Service at 3:30, Monday, Nov. 22, 2021 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
