Donna M. Kapp, 80, of Nappanee, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Heritage House Assisted Living.
She was born on July 20, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Donald Bacon and Martha (McGaughey) Miller.
Mrs. Kapp was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife, always caring for her family. Once her children were out of the house, she then went on to work as a cook for a First Assembly Corner Stone daycare.
Donna loved baking, sewing, and coloring, but perhaps her greatest passion was sharing the love of Jesus with everyone, especially residents of nursing homes.
She is survived by her children, Wendy (Charles) Lawrence, Tabatha Wichman-Kapp, Teria (Mike) Prestarri, Toni (Reese) Dorsey, and Ben (Rachel Ling) Kapp; siblings, Gail Brinkman-O’Conner and Debbie Oberg, 10 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Gene Kapp; son, Mark Kapp; and granddaughter Katlyne Kapp.
Funeral services celebrating Donna’s life will be Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 12 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
