Dorothy L. Faurote

Dorothy L Faurote, 86, of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne, IN. Dorothy was born September 29, 1934 in Breathitt County, Kentucky. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and The Hillary Club. She retired after 25 years of working for Northwest Allen County Schools food services. 

Dorothy is survived by her husband Ernest; sons, Thomas (Cheryl) Faurote, and Steven (Tami) Faurote; daughters, Susan Stauffer, and Mary Alberding; and sister, Delphia Lauer; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Taylor and Grace Lansaw, and 11 siblings. 

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave with calling one hour prior. Visitation also will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Friday, April 30, 2021.  Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.  Face mask/coverings are required.

Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
