Douglas Ward Haywood

Douglas Ward Haywood, 62, of Fort Wayne died July 11, 2021 at I U Health University Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. Douglas was born May 1, 1959 in Tell City, Indiana and was the son of the late David and Joyce Haywood. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, and  Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. He graduated from Wabash College  and was an accountant for the Edgewater Tax Group. Douglas was passionate about his family, faith and work. He is survived by his wife Donna; daughters, Elizabeth (Andrew) Black of Indianapolis, IN, Rachel Haywood and Rebecca Haywood; brothers, Jack (Karen) Haywood of New Albany, IN, and Dick Haywood of Tell City, IN.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Our Lady of Good Hope, 7215 St Joe Rd with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Friday, July 16, 2021, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a rosary recited at 3:30 pm, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne.
