Edward Terry Roethele

Edward (Terry) Roethele of Fort Wayne passed away Thursday December 9, 2021 at home. Terry was the son of the late Geraldine and Edward H. Roethele. He was a graduate of Marmion Military Academy and attended Xavier University and Fort Wayne Business College. Terry began working with his father at Roethele Building Materials and later became the proud owner of the business and its many accomplishments and contributions to Fort Wayne. He was a member of Business Forum Group and was an avid trap shooter winning many awards and making life long friends. Terry was an Army veteran proudly serving in Korea. He enjoyed spending many years and summers at Clear Lake with his family and grandchildren. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Cynthia (Jackson) Roethele, daughter Amy M.Wilson (Mike), of Carmel In, and granddaughters Alexandra and Ainsley Wilson, siblings Nancy (John) Woulfe of Chicago, Mary Sue Roethele of Osceola Wi, and Timothy J. Roethele of Boca Raton Fl. And may nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with calling from 9:30 am until 11am.  Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN.
