Ellen (Gallagher) Devlin

Ellen Devlin, 66, of Fort Wayne passed away peacefully at home on September 4, 2022. Ellen was born February 10, 1956 in Bronxville, NY, the daughter of the late William and Kathleen Gallagher. 

Ellen grew up in Garden City, NY until relocating when she was 22. 

She was a graduate of St. Leo College, having obtained her Bachelors degree. She was a mother of three and grandmother of seven, whom she devoted her life to. She was a very active member of Christ Child Society of Fort Wayne. Ellen enjoyed traveling, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends, amongst the many other various activities she had throughout the course of her life. 

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, James Devlin; children, Jamie (Kevin) Schreck, Molly Barnhart and Michaela (Eric) Blume; grandchildren, Megan, Brody, McKenna, Ryan, Josephine, Cameron, and Layla; siblings, Teresa Solotoff, Michael Gallagher, Kathleen (Kevin) Cahill, and Joseph (Laurie) Gallagher. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews and the Glover family. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on  Friday, September 9, 2022 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Child Society.
