Frank J. Bontempo

Frank J. Bontempo, 86, of Fort Wayne passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022.  Born June 30, 1935, in Fort Wayne he was a son of the late Alfonso and Mary Bontempo.  He was a member of Cathedral of Immaculate Conception.  He also served in the Marine Corps and was a member of the Marine Corps League.  Frank was a maintenance worker at Kunkle Valve.  Frank is survived by his wife, Marjorie; daughters, Julie (Jeffery) Ward, Lori (Mark) Schmidt; sons, Donnie (Gina) Lewis, Gregory (Susan) Bontempo, Jeffrey (Patricia) Bontempo, Bryan (Candi) Rorick; 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and other extended family members.  Frank was also preceded in death by his third wife, Janet Bontempo; one grandson; one granddaughter; and 16 siblings.  Funeral Service will be 1:30 pm, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave with calling from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm.  Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Stillwater Hospice or Homeless Veterans.
