Gail Huneck

Gail Huneck, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born on March 11, 1935 in Norwood, MA to the late Raymond and Grace (MacBride) Rafuse Sr. On September 5, 1959, in Marion, she married Robert Huneck. Mrs. Huneck was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and Dove’s Nest. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Fort Wayne. Gail enjoyed sewing, crafting, reading, and playing cards. Surviving are her children, Lisa Collins, Mark (Shelly) Huneck, Kurt (Bev) Huneck, Michael (Erin) Huneck, and Christopher Huneck; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Gail was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and five siblings. Mass of Christian Resurrection will be Friday, May 19, 2023 at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 7215 Saint Joe Road, Fort Wayne at 11 a.m. with calling one hour prior. Visitation will also be Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 4:30 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.
