Gary M. Clouse, Jr., 33, of Fort Wayne, died Friday October 27, 2023. He was born in Fort Wayne on November 1, 1989, the son of Gary M. Clouse, Sr. and Kathleen Clouse, who both survive. Gary is also survived by his wife, Bobbie (King) Clouse and their children, Gary M. Clouse III, Samuel Clouse and Jasmine Clouse, all of Fort Wayne, along with a daughter, Cynthia Ramerez in California and his brother, Spencer Clouse of Fort Wayne.
His wife, Bobbie, shares that
“Gary loved his family and friends; most of all his children, Cynthia, Gary III, Samuel and Jasmine. He loved joking around and making people laugh – always the clown. Gary had a laugh, and that alone would make you smile and laugh. He loved being in the moment, surrounded by those he loved the most, and always with a sparkle in his eyes. His favorite colors were red and black and most of his wardrobe consisted of just those two colors. Gary wasn’t a sports guy, he didn’t play many sports either, but he did enjoy playing basketball and following the Chicago Bulls, his favorite team. One of his hobbies was collecting snapback hats; he was rarely seen without wearing one, and he often stopped to purchase another addition to his collection, whenever he saw one he liked. Gary was not a food lover, but rarely passed up a snack-cake; he particularly enjoyed brownies and would often hide a few so the kids didn’t eat all of them. He enjoyed taking the kids on long walks, just being with them and watching them. He loved when he and his best friend Tony would get together with all the kids and just hang out and relax. Gary always found the time to check on his family and friends to make sure they were doing alright. Gary never wanted to hear about, or see anyone, especially those he loved and cared about, doing badly. He would do what he could for them, even when he didn’t have much to give. He enjoyed reading books and the Bible. He became a Holy man, and a man of God. Always preaching the Word of Jesus, and preaching it in the music he made. If you didn’t want to hear it, you were going to regardless; he never stopped for anybody. Gary was baptized in July of 2022; he envisioned that one day he would get into the ministry and start a church. He supported Youth Suicide Awareness and Prevention, Mental Health Awareness, and Drug Addiction Awareness and Prevention. Gary saw things differently and deeply; his feelings were deeper than the ocean. He always tried his best; he was strong, confident, and hard-working. Whenever he fell, he would pick himself right back up; always in search of a better tomorrow. He loved coffee all day long; always had to have a pot made. He loved the Fourth of July, (he was a fire bug…)
Gary was kind, caring and loving, funny and joyful. He was everything one could want in a husband, father, son, nephew and friend….”
