Gerald A Bodnar, 91, of Fort Wayne died August 1, 2021 in Fort Wayne, IN. Gerald was born to the late Andrew and Irene Bodnar on March 25, 1930 in Muskegon Heights, MI. He was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling drawing and painting and was an avid Bob Ross fan. Gerald is survived by son, Jim (Linda) Bodnar of Churubusco, IN; daughters Debra (Mark) Kitt of Albion, IN and Cheryl (Kevin) Ruch of Fort Wayne, IN; son Kenneth Bodnar of Fort Wayne, IN, Mark Bodnar of Fort Wayne, IN; Sisters, Barbara (Bill) Vanderstelt of Muskegon, MI, Mary (Larry) Lavigne of Norton Shores, MI, Joanne (Ray) Perley of Muskegon, MI; loving fiancée Cindy Nelmes; 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth M Bodnar; brothers Don, Art, and Ken and sister Dorothy. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Friday, August 6, 2021 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
