Harold P. Houser

Harold Paul Houser, 86, of Fort Wayne, IN departed this life on September 8, 2021.  He went home to be with his Lord.  Born July 1, 1935 in Fort Wayne, IN.  Harold was loving and caring, and was always available to help out anyone.  He was always trying to win at the lottery. He was an avid fisherman.  He most enjoyed his family and playing cards.  He retired from International Harvester.  He served in the U. S. Army.  He is survived by his brother, Raymond (Barb), 21 nieces and nephews, Diane (Fred) Steury, Katherine (Paul) Swick, Linda (Tom) Fritz, Sandra (Larry) Guenin, Conan (Darlene) Myers, Karen (Lynn) Brown, Kheila (Bill) Kirwan, Mark (Marvin) Houser, John (Cindy) Houser, Tammy (Sunny) Arora, Larry  (Barb) Houser,  James(Mary) Houser, Ronald Houser,  Charlotte Vallier, Gary (Sue) Houser, Rick Houser, Linda (Steve) Henslee Donna (Marcus) Marquart, Steve (Margret) Bennett, Pamela (Jim) Neidholdt and Jeffery (Teresa) Bennett.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Estella (Fraikin) Houser; brothers, Wilbert Houser (Violet), Floyd Houser (Theresa), Charles Houser, Jr. (Evelyn), Donald Houser (Marjorie), Robert Houser, Richard Houser; sisters, Evelyn Robinson, and Lillian (Harvey) Bennett.  Harold’s departure leaves his grieving family and friends that loved him so much! Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Friday, September 17, 2021 at Pine Hills Church, 4704 Carroll Rd with calling one hour prior. There will be a Lunch following the service for family and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors.
