Hugh A Gerard

Hugh A Gerard, 87, of Fort Wayne died September 14, 2021 at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, IN. Hugh was born May 10, 1934 in Fort Wayne, and was the son of the late Robert and Lucille Gerard. He served our country in the U S Army during the Korean War and worked at International Harvester for 19 years, and later, worked in sales at various car dealerships. Hugh was a member of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and St. Charles Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Hugh is survived by his children;  Steven Gerard of Ventura, CA, Hugh M (Cheryl) Gerard of Fort Wayne, Kenneth (Lynette) Gerard of Kendallville, IN,  Diane (Dane) McClain of Fort Wayne, Barbara (Michael) Isbell of Fort Wayne, IN, Mary (Bradley) Emery of Austin, TX, Karen Reiter and Nancy (Sam) Federspiel both of Fort Wayne; 22 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Nancy K Gerard, sister, Patricia Jett, brothers, Robert E. and  Jerome L. Gerard. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd with calling one hour prior.
