James Edward Geary

James "Jim" Edward Geary passed away peacefully of natural causes, Monday, Nov. 15, 2021 surrounded by family. He was born in Fort Wayne on Dec. 9, 1951 to the late Pat and Betty Geary. He was a 1970 graduate of Central Catholic High School and a graduate of Ivy Tech. He had worked at Fruehauf and American Hoist. Jim enjoyed traveling, gourmet cooking, reading, painting, kayaking, and fishing.

Jim is survived by his wife of 37 years, Donna; son Chris (Stefanie); Step children Stacy (Kevin) Haskins and Cory (Jessica) Lawson; grandchildren Statton (Maggie) and Kelsie (Eric) Watson; along with his treasured great grandchildren and siblings Sue (Brian) Wilkins, Janet Geary and Joan (Joe) Costenero.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Carey Renee.

Services will be held 1:30 pm Wednesday Nov. 17, 2021 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with visitation one hour prior. Entombment will be in the Gu'erin Mausoleum at the Catholic Cemetery. Family request face covering\ mask be worn.
