Janice Smith Obituary

Janice A. Smith, 72, of Fort Wayne passed away, Saturday, December 12, 2020. Janice was born June 29, 1948 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Maurice and Janette Bimer. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope. She was a senior medical claim consultant at Lincoln National Life for over 22 years. Janice is survived by her son, William E. Smith of Fort Wayne who will miss her greatly; sister, Bonnie (Mike) Harris of Fort Myers, Florida; brother, Maurice (Nita) Bimer, Jr. of Lima, OH; niece, Melissa Boner of Fort Wayne; and nephews, Chris Bimer and William Bimer both of Lima, OH. Janice was also preceded in death by her sisters, Cheryl Bimer and Linda Lepper. Graveside Services will be private. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
